what TO expect when working with taylor
I believe in working with my clients and their wedding planners to identify what matters most to them on wedding day, and then building my photo and timeline approach around those priorities.
During our timeline creation and preplanning consult calls, I'll ask you to describe what your dream day looks like. Whether its a private moment with your parents, a first look with your spouse, or partying down on the dance floor, I can't wait to capture it all!

After viewing my website and filling out the contact form, I'll send the full collections over for you and your future spouse to review together. Next, we'll chat via Zoom to make sure my personality, style, and approach are the perfect fit for your day.
On wedding day, I will be there to photograph every moment. In addition to photographing you and your loved ones, I'm happy to help you and the bridal party with anything you need. From fluffing the dress, to pinning boutonnieres, I'm there to help make this the day of your dreams!
Sneak peeks will be delivered shortly after wedding day and the online gallery will be sent to you a few weeks later. After delivering the online gallery, I'll send you a draft of your wedding album for you to approve and once printed, it will be shipped directly to your door!
Six months before the wedding, we'll have a planning call to discuss timeline specifics, family photo requests, special traditions and anything else I should know about your big day. Within a week, I'll provide you with a timeline and family photo list tailored to your wedding day.
After you select the right collection for your day, I'll draft a contract and send it to you for review. After the contract is signed and the retainer is received, your date will be officially reserved!
Next, we'll set a date for your engagement session and I'll provide you a list of my favorite locations. When the day arrives, we'll enjoy a relaxed night together capturing the two of you on camera.
I strive to create classic images that you will treasure whether it is your 5th or 50th anniversary. In the final gallery, you can expect true to life colors, with the best images also copied into black and white. While filters and fads can be fun, eventually they will become dated. I believe that love is timeless, and as a result, I edit in a way that will allow your images to stand the test of time.
How far in advance should we inquire?
As soon as you have your date set! My weekends fill up quickly, especially during summer and fall, so the sooner you reach out, the more likely you are to get your desired date. Most couples book about 12 - 16 months before their wedding day.
DO WE HAVE TO PURCHASE DIGITAL FILES OR PRINT RELEASES?
Never! Digital files and print rights are included with your wedding day collection. Printed keepsakes, like albums and canvases can be added onto any wedding package at booking, or ordered after wedding day. I want you to enjoy your photos, so I never place watermarks on the images I provide to you.
Will you travel to capture our event?
Absolutely. North East Grand Rapids is my home base, but the majority of my weddings take place within a 60 mile radius. If you're outside of that radius, please don't let that stop you from reaching out, as I take on a select number of destination weddings per year.
We have a large bridal party & family, can you handle our crazy?
Yes! I absolutely love working with large families and bridal parties. My dad has 12 brothers and sisters, so I grew up loving the chaos of a big, rowdy extended family. I'll capture your family portraits efficiently and get to off to your reception ASAP!
no.
