Nate and Kara’s summer wedding at the Royal Park Hotel was the perfect August day!
From the beginning of our planning conversations, Kara and Nate envisioned an intimate celebration with minimal moving parts. It was important to them to be emotionally present on wedding day and have time to visit with each of their guests. As such, they opted for a small bridal party and chose to have all of their wedding day activities take place at the Royal Park Hotel.
The morning began with Kara getting ready in one of the hotel’s bridal suites. The pastel striped walls and the blue floral print were so fun to photograph! They were the perfect complement to Kara’s calm, confident demeanor as she put on her dress with her mom and maid of honor. In the same hotel just a few doors down, Nate and his best man donned their suits and pinned their boutonnieres.
The couple’s ceremony and reception took place in the iconic glass conservatory, one of the most beautiful features that the Royal Park Hotel has to offer. After exchanging vows, the couple and their guests explored the European-style gardens during cocktail hour. Soon after, the reception began back inside the conservatory. The couple and their floral team had chosen soft florals and greenery that complemented the muted green interior of the conservatory.
After toasting their specialty drink with speeches from loved ones, the couple shared their first dance and stepped outside into the gardens for some time alone during their newlywed portraits. Their vision for a meaningful, stress-free wedding day at the Royal Park Hotel had become a reality and it was time to soak it all in! While the August sun was hot, you’d never know it by the way Kara and Nate walked the gardens with eyes for only eachother.
