Sydney and Carlos’s winter wedding in Yale, Michigan took place on a snowy February day. Most brides cross their fingers and pray for no precipitation on wedding day…except for the winter bride that is! The morning of Sydney and Carlos’s wedding day, the skies opened up and showered down rich, romantic, fluffy snowflakes, just like a Hallmark movie!
Sydney’s wedding dress was the most beautiful ivory color and looked phenomenal against the white snow. To keep her toes warm, she paired a classic pair of white Chuck Taylor high tops with her wedding dress! Meanwhile down the hall, Carlos donned his suit and tie while preparing for the ceremony.
Despite the storm, the couple’s youth pastor from the early days of their relationship drove all the way in from Wisconson to officiate! After their ceremony, we stepped outside to capture their newlywed portraits in the winter wonderland. Although it was cold, Sydney was radiating in the way only a bride can, and Carlos was in awe!
Sydney and Carlos, thank you for allowing me to capture your big day! I wish the two of you the best in the years to come as husband and wife!
